Benmort Connect collects personal information necessary to provide and improve our services. This includes information you provide directly (name, email address, phone number, professional credentials, payment details), information collected automatically (device information, IP address, usage patterns, cookies), and information from third-party sources (identity verification providers, professional licensing bodies, payment processors). For professionals, we additionally collect credential documentation, portfolio materials, and verification records relevant to their service categories.
2. Use of Information
We use the information we collect to operate and maintain the Platform, match clients with appropriate professionals using our AI-powered matching system, process payments and manage escrow transactions, verify professional identities and credentials, communicate service updates and relevant opportunities, improve our matching algorithms and user experience, comply with legal obligations and regulatory requirements, and prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Information Sharing
We share your information only in the following circumstances: with service providers and professionals you choose to engage through the Platform (limited to information necessary for the engagement), with payment processors and financial institutions to complete transactions, with identity verification and background check providers, with regulatory authorities when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users, and with affiliated companies within Benmort Limited for operational purposes. All third-party service providers are contractually bound to protect your information and use it only for the purposes specified.
4. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information held by Benmort Connect. You may request a copy of your data, withdraw consent for optional data processing, opt out of marketing communications, and request account deletion. For users in jurisdictions covered by GDPR, CCPA, or Ghana's Data Protection Act, additional rights may apply as specified in our Data Protection Policy.
